Refunds and cancellation
No lock-in. Here is exactly what happens to the money if you stop.
Draft, not yet reviewed by a lawyer. Everything below describes what Sahayata Care actually does today, and the limits are real ones taken from our own service rules. It still needs a legal read before it is relied on. Last updated 11 September 2026.
1. The first visit is free
We come to the house, meet your parents, look at how they actually live and write the care plan — before any money changes hands. If it is not for you, that is the end of it and there is nothing to refund.
2. Monthly plans
There is no lock-in. Tell us any time and we will stop at the end of the month you have paid for; the service runs to the end of that month and is not billed again. We do not refund part of a month already begun, because the care manager and the record are held for you across the whole of it.
3. Annual plans
An annual plan is paid for ten months and runs for twelve. If you cancel part-way through, we work out what you have actually used at the ordinary monthly price, compare it with what you paid, and refund the difference if there is one. Worked plainly: the discount belongs to the full term, so it does not survive a cancellation.
4. Work billed per episode
Dialysis and chemotherapy accompaniment, travel outside the city and similar are quoted and billed separately. Cancel before the day and there is nothing to pay. Cancel on the day, after the executive has set out, and we may charge the trip.
5. Services provided by somebody else
Where we arranged a nurse, a physiotherapist, a lab, a cab or a trade, that provider billed you directly and their refund policy is theirs, not ours. We will help you take it up with them.
6. If we let you down
If a visit we were paid for did not happen, tell us and we will either do it or take it off the bill. That is not a concession; it is the deal.
7. How a refund is paid
To the same method the payment came from, normally within seven working days of us agreeing it, and in any case within the period the payment provider requires. Bank timings after that are the bank's.
8. How to ask
Write to care@sahayatacare.com or call +91 78425 25757. Tell us the household and what happened; you do not need a form.
